Ted Sarandos and David Ellison have a shootout in front of a wild west town with the Warner Brothers water tower in the background. They're in front of an old theatre, with a marquee that reads, now playing: The Buyout
The Buyout Digital

This piece was commissioned for The Hollywood Reporter to accompany an article about Netflix and Paramount's battle for control of Warner Brothers.

I wanted to do a quick show-and-tell on this piece because it was an overnight rush job, and a rare case where I only had time to work-up one sketch, and the sketch ended-up being awfully close to the final. For a rush, it was surprisingly low-stress once the sketch was approved because I was lucky enough to have hit all the right chords on my first attempt. A rare feat!

Here's the pencil-and-marker sketch approved by the client.
And the tight drawing that I loaded into SKRIBBLOR for final inks and colours.

This is also the second professional piece that I've shipped which was drawn with my own software.

This one should be indexed at the home page, and at year P.
