A logotype of letters spelling the word SKRIBBLOR, having the appearance of extruded rock. The O in the word is a corked glass ink bottle.
SKRIBBLOR Demo Pieces Digital

SKRIBBLOR is an SVG-based freehand drawing/sketching/note-taking app that I am the author of. In the course of developing the software I've drawn with it – a lot. Much of that drawing has been rough sketches, idea drawings, notes – the sort of thing that the app was initially designed for. But some of the test pieces have been more finished illustrations as well.

Amongst these pieces were the logotype above, and the mascot design ideas below.

A drawing of a cloaked, bird-like, warrior-mage with spiked shoulder armour and wielding a staff that looks like a giant dip-pen.
The second (and final) mascot design.
A drawing of a pink-skinned imp with a fur cape, carrying an enormous dip-pen. He has a skull on his chest and the intersection of two bandoliers of ink bottles.
The initial mascot design. There are some fun elements in this, but the vibe isn't quite right.

I also created a couple of short comics-styled pieces, suggesting more of a world/back-story for SKRIBBLOR, the eponymous bird-like warrior-mage character that now stands as the official mascot of the software.

A single comics panel in which we see the back of a cloaked figure looking out of a dark slit in a dwelling at a large branch extending into the distance.
A three-panel comic strip with a small bird wizard entering his treetop home.

If you're interested in trying SKRIBBLOR for yourself, head over to skribblor.app to try the Web version, or try the Google Play store for the native Android release. iOS/iPadOS coming some time in 2026!

This one should be indexed at the home page, and at year P.
